1. BUS
1.1 Role of Bank-Pay
Bank-Pay provides a technology platform that connects intending travellers with independent bus
operators. Bank-Pay does not own, operate, or control any bus and does not provide transportation
services. Bank-Pay is not an agent of any bus operator.
Tickets/vouchers issued to Users are generated based on information shared by the respective operator
regarding seat availability, schedules, fares, routes, amenities and other service details.
1.2 Limitation of Liability of Bank-Pay
As an intermediary enabling transactions between bus operators and Users, Bank-Pay is not responsible
for, and shall not be liable for:
- Timely departure or arrival of buses;
- Conduct or actions of the operator or its staff/representatives;
- Bus condition, seat quality or amenities not meeting expectations/descriptions;
- Trip cancellations or route changes for any reason;
- Loss, theft or damage of baggage/personal belongings;

Seat changes made by the operator (including for women/children or operational reasons);

Errors/changes in boarding or drop points as communicated by operators;

Use of a separate pick-up vehicle to transfer passengers from the boarding point to the bus.
If applicable law does not permit exclusion of liability, Bank-Pay’s aggregate liability shall be
limited to the amount paid by the User and retained by Bank-Pay for the specific transaction.
1.3 Responsibilities of Users

Contact the operator to reconfirm exact boarding point, reporting time and service details;

Carry a valid ticket/e-voucher (print/SMS/email/app) and government-issued photo ID
(Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence or other valid ID);
- Report at the boarding point at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure;

Note that all tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the named passenger(s).
1.4 Cancellation of Ticket
Cancellations can be initiated via the User account on the Website/mobile app or by contacting
customer support. Operator-specific cancellation charges and timelines, as displayed on the
ticket/e-voucher, will apply.
1.5 Rescheduling of Ticket
Where enabled by the operator, rescheduling (change of travel date) can be requested via the
Website/mobile app or through customer support. Rescheduling policies, eligibility and fees are
displayed on the e-ticket and may vary by operator.
- Fare differences (if any) are payable by the User.

If the new fare is lower, the difference may not be refundable as per the respective operator’s
policy.

Rescheduling may be permitted only once per booking. After rescheduling, further cancellation may
be restricted as per operator policy.

Tickets remain non-transferable; the originally named passenger(s) must travel.
2. VEHICLE HIRE / CHARTER (Full-Vehicle Booking)
2.1 Role of Bank-Pay
Bank-Pay offers a platform for hiring an entire vehicle (e.g., bus/tempo traveller) from independent
operators. Bank-Pay does not operate vehicles and is not an agent of the operators. Booking details are
based on information provided by operators.
2.2 Limitation of Liability of Bank-Pay
In facilitating bookings between Users and operators, Bank-Pay shall not be liable for, including but
not limited to:
- Timely departure or arrival;
- Conduct/attire of the operator’s staff;
- Vehicle condition, seating or amenities not meeting expectations/descriptions;
- Absence of welcome kits/amenities;
- Trip cancellation by the operator;
- Loss or damage of baggage;

Use of a separate pick-up vehicle to reach the departure point;

Unavailability or breakdown of the hired vehicle. In such cases, Bank-Pay may assist in
coordinating with the operator to arrange an alternative of similar standard, subject to
availability.
Operators are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required permits, licences and
compliances. Bank-Pay is not liable for cancellations arising from operator non-compliance.
2.3 Responsibilities of Users

Reconfirm boarding point, timings and service details directly with the operator;

Carry booking confirmation voucher and valid government-issued photo ID;

Verify booking details upon receipt and immediately request correction if inaccurate; delays may
impact fulfilment.
2.4 Cancellation of Booking
Cancellations can be made via the Website/mobile app or through customer support. Operator-specific
cancellation timelines and fees apply as indicated in the booking details.
2.5 Payment for Booking and Additional Charges

Full Payment: Total amount payable to Bank-Pay at booking (base fare, applicable
taxes including GST, and any service/convenience fees).

Partial Payment: A part of the amount may be paid at booking and the balance within
the specified time. Failure to pay the balance may result in cancellation as per policy; refunds (if
any) are as per cancellation terms. In some cases, balance collection may occur at trip start as
mentioned in the voucher.

Pay at Vehicle: A portion is paid to Bank-Pay and the balance is payable directly
to the operator at trip start/end, as specified in the voucher.

Out-of-pocket charges (e.g., tolls, permits, parking, entry fees), driver bata, and government
taxes/surcharges not included in the booking price are payable by the User directly to the
driver/operator.

Optional insurance, if offered, is provided by third-party insurers. Claims, if any, are handled by
the insurer. Bank-Pay is not a party to such claims.
3. TRAIN BOOKINGS VIA IRCTC
3.1 Role of Bank-Pay
Bank-Pay provides an online interface to search for and book train tickets through IRCTC. All rail
bookings are subject to Indian Railways and IRCTC rules and terms. Bank-Pay has no control over booking
flow, seat/berth allocation, RAC/WL status, schedule changes, delays, charting, meal or berth
preferences, or any railway services.
3.2 Responsibilities of Users

During booking, you may be redirected to IRCTC to authenticate using your IRCTC credentials. Please
ensure you remember your IRCTC username and password.

Booking limits, quotas and allotment are governed by Indian Railways. Preferred seat/berth is not
guaranteed.

Only passengers with confirmed e-tickets may board. Carry valid ID proof as mandated by Railways.

Refer to official sources (www.irctc.co.in / www.indianrail.gov.in) for rules, quotas, concessions
and operational updates.
3.3 Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

Bank-Pay service/convenience charges are non-refundable unless mandated by law.

Cancellations must be initiated through the Website/app; offline cancellations are not accepted.

Railway/IRCTC cancellation rules and charges apply depending on timing and booking quota. Fully
waitlisted e-tickets are auto-cancelled post charting; refunds (after deducting Bank-Pay charges, if
applicable) are credited to the original payment method as per IRCTC timelines.

Concessions/discounts for eligible categories (e.g., senior citizens, female passengers, children)
are governed by Indian Railways and not determined by Bank-Pay.
4. MISCELLANEOUS
Operators are solely responsible for compliance with applicable laws, including the Motor Vehicles
Act/Rules and any Central/State regulations or directives. Any prosecutions, penalties or directives
(including fare controls) shall be borne by the operator. Users must address service grievances arising
from enforcement actions directly with the operator.
The Bank-Pay User Agreement, Privacy Policy and specific product/offer terms apply. Claims may be
rejected in cases of misuse/abuse or ineligibility under applicable terms.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Limitation of Liability: The maximum aggregate liability of Bank-Pay arising from a
transaction shall not exceed the amount paid by the User and retained by Bank-Pay for that specific
transaction. Bank-Pay shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental or
consequential damages.
